Yet another Malayalam series, Roslin, is set to make its digital release on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. The streaming platform has confirmed that the upcoming series, starring senior actors Meena and Vineeth, would be released soon, though an exact release date was not announced. Roslin: Secret Stories Unfold will be the first Malayalam series to release in 2026.
Where to watch Malayalam web series Roslin
JioHotstar had announced as many as five Malayalam web series, including Roslin, for its upcoming slate for 2026 during the South Unbound event held in December last year. Now, the platform has confirmed that Roslin would be the first Malayalam web series to release from the list. Though the makers have not given the Roslin OTT release date, it is expected to drop on the platform in February or March 2026.
Vinayak Sasikumar has penned the story, while Sumesh Nandakumar has directed the series.
What’s Roslin about
The Malayalam web series Roslin revolves around the titular character, a teenager, who is haunted by recurring nightmares of a stalker. The distinctive feature of the stalker being the green eyes. The series depicts the fears and apprehensions of the teenager and those around her, including her family.
Sanjana Dipu and Hakkim Shah play the lead roles. Drishyam actress Meena and Eko actor Vineeth are also part of the Malayalam web series, which has noted director Jeethu Joseph as the showrunner. Notably, Jeethu Joseph’s most-awaited film is Drishyam 3, which will have Meena reprising her role as the wife of Georgekutty (Mohanlal).

Actor Nivin Pauly’s Pharma was the recent Malayalam series to drop on the platform in December 2025. The Sarvam Maya actor was seen in the role of a medical representative in the series, helmed by PR Arun. Kerala Crime Files Season 1 and Season 2 would be the most popular Malayalam series on the platform, which has also greenlit Season 3.
The other two upcoming Malayalam web series announced by the platform are Anali and Cousins & Kalyanams. All these series are also available for OTTplay Premium subscribers also.
