S. S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is definitely one of the most hyped and anticipated of upcoming releases. And one of the film’s stars, Alia Bhatt, has certainly felt the pressure. The actress recently opened up about how she had felt nervous at times while working on the Jr NTR-Ram Charan led film and what caused it.
During the movie’s trailer launch event, Bhatt opened up about how she felt nervous about delivering her Telugu lines in the film, a language she was not familiar with. She revealed that she wanted to do justice to her character by not only learning the lines by heart, but also making sure she used proper pauses and inflections in her dialogues.
Bhatt also credited the director with making her feel much more at ease on sets, having kept everything prepared. The actress also added that by the end of filming she was feeling dejected and hoped to have an opportunity to work with the filmmaker on future projects as well.
RRR is a fictional story based on two real life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.the former had led the Rampa Rebellion of 1922 against the British Raj while Bheem had been a key figure in the 1930s battles against the Nizam rulers of Hyderabad.
In addition to NTR, Bhatt and Charan, RRR also stars Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran.
The film will be released on January 7, 2022.
