RRR, Baahubali cameraman, Senthil Kumar's wife Roohi passes away, last rites to be held today

Senthil Kumar is one of the top cameramen in Telugu cinema. He mostly works with Rajamouli and has done films like RRR, Sye, Chatrapati, Eega, Magadheera, Baahubali, and many more films in his career. In what could be said as bad news, Senthil's wife, Roohi passed away yesterday in Hyderabad.

This news has come in as a massive shock within the industry and condolences have been pouring in. Roohi has been battling with health issues for quite some time now as per the news. She was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad a few days ago and breathed her last at 2 PM yesterday, February 15, 2024.

Rajamouli and his family rushed to meet the ace cameraman who is survived by two kids. The last rites will be held at Maha Prasthanam today at 2 PM in Hyderabad. Roohi was a doting wife and always accompanied Senthil in all the events he attended.

In many of his interviews, Roohi proudly spoke about her husband and how hard he had worked so hard in his life to come to this stage. A few days ago, we reported that Rajamouli had chosen PS Vinod instead of Senthil Kumar as the cameraman for his new film with Mahesh Babu.

There was so much hue and cry as to why Rajamouli replaced Senthil Kumar. Now, news has come out that Rajamouli knew Senthil's situation and allowed Senthil to be with his wife during her last days. Well, we at OTTplay convey deep condolences to Senthil and his family during their time of grief.
