S.S. Rajamouli’s period epic, RRR, hit theatres on March 25. The movie, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has been breaking box office records ever since.

The latest reports about the movie’s incredible box office run is that it has become the fifth highest grossing Indian movie. Reportedly, RRR has also had a massive second weekend.

The movie collected Rs. 65 crore gross on Saturday and an impressive Rs. 78 crore gross yesterday. Having collected a whopping Rs. 223 crore on its first day and creating history, RRR has now collected Rs. 882 crore gross worldwide.

RRR’s box office dominance means that the movie has overtaken Aamir Khan starrer PK and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 in the process to become Indian cinema's fifth highest grosser of all time. The movie is on its way to become only the third Indian movie to cross the Rs. 1000 crore barrier after Baahubali: The Conclusion and Dangal.

Written and directed by Rajamouli, the movie stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, respectively. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris among others.

“The first hour and a half just sweeps you off your feet and it's all credit to the arresting storytelling, the strong establishment of interpersonal relationships. It's an understatement to say that the interval action sequence delivers a bang for your buck,” reads OTTplay’s review about RRR.

Released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the movie is available in theatres across the country.
