S.S. Rajamouli’s latest outing, RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, has taken the spotlight of Indian cinema since its release. The movie has been on a remarkable box office run and its numbers on Day 6 are still impressive. 

Having started strong, setting the new record for the highest first day collection for an Indian film, the movie has now slowed down. RRR collected Rs 9.54 Crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana according to reports. 

The movie, which collected a ground-breaking Rs, 223 crore on its first day worldwide, minted Rs 74.11 of this amount from the Telugu regions. On its first Saturday and Sunday, the movie collected Rs 65.16 crore. After six days of its theatrical run, which has impressed the fans, the movie has collected a total of Rs 180.17 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Another impressive box office feat by the period action drama, is that its Hindi version has already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark. After six days of its run, RRR has reportedly collected a whopping Rs. 670 crore gross worldwide. 

Written and directed by Rajamouli, the movie stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR played Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively. The fictionalised tale has impressed the fans and has received highly positive reviews. 

The movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in extended cameo roles. RRR also features Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris in supporting roles. 

Bankrolled by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainments, the movie is available in theatres around the world.
