This was always going to be a massive week for OTT platforms and theatres alike with two major films featuring big stars, Bheemla Nayak and RRR, releasing across two mediums. Such is the craze for RRR in Telugu states now that over 90% tickets for the movie have been sold out for the opening day in Telangana, AP. It's certain that the focus of audiences on March 25 will most likely be on RRR than Bheemla Nayak. Both aha and Disney+ Hotstar, on which Bheemla Nayak is set to have its digital premiere, realising the same, have advanced the film's OTT release by a day. Yes, the film will have a digital release on both platforms on March 24 and will start streaming from midnight today.

Never before has an OTT premiere for a movie has been advanced for this reason and it shows how alert are streaming platforms in understanding the pulse of viewerss. aha and Disney+ Hotstar have arrived at a very practical decision that'll be beneficial for them. And of course, viewers would always be doubly joyous about this news. aha has even gone onto announce that for the first time on the platform, audiences will be able to enjoy Bheemla Nayak with a Dolby 5.1 sound and 4K HD quality. Disney+ Hotstar has a similar option enable for viewers too.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra, Bheemla Nayak stars Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon in the lead. The likes of Pammi Sai, Rao Ramesh, Narra Srinivas, Samuthirakani and others play important roles too. Trivikram came up with the screenplay and dialogues while Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer and Navin Nooli is the editor of the same. AS Srinivas is the art director and S Thaman scored the music. The film, produced by S Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, hit theatres across the globe on February 25 and went onto gross a little over Rs 100 crore.
