RRR (Hindi version)’s Box Office saw a further 10% drop from Monday on its first Tuesday. However, since it was a weekday, the Box Office collections for SS Rajamouli’s film were good considering all the factors – that people across were working. The movie, however, did not beat The Kashmir Files at the Box Office when it came to first Tuesday collections.
Ram Charan-Jr. NTR’s film collected Rs. 15.25 crores on day 5 i.e. first Tuesday, according to a report on Box Office India. This takes the total collection of the film to Rs. 106.50 crores. Despite minting Rs. 15.25 crores on its first Tuesday, RRR failed to beat The Kashmir Files at the Box Office. Vivek Agnihotri’s film has earned Rs. 17.89 crores on its first Tuesday.
RRR beat Ranveer Singh’s 83, Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi first Tuesday Box Office record. They had earned Rs. 6.45 crores, Rs. 9.28 crores and Rs. 11.20 crores on day 5 respectively.
The good thing for RRR is that it worked as well as opening day Friday in certain belts of India. However, the cause of concern for this film is that it is not working as well as expected from Maharashtra and Gujarat. Bihar and Odisha, on the other hand, makes up for what lacks in these two belts. RRR could become the highest-grossing film in both Bihar and Odisha.
Here's the day-wise Box Office collection of RRR:
Friday – Rs. 19 crores
Saturday – Rs. 24 crores
Sunday – Rs. 31.50 crores
Monday – Rs. 16.75 crores
Tuesday – Rs. 15.25 crores
Total – Rs. 106.50 crores
The movie is likely to earn Rs. 130 crores at the end of the week, now that it has entered Rs. 100 crore club. RRR will become a sure-shot hit, if not blockbuster. The movie has beaten Sooryavanshi’s Box Office record already and that movie was the first highest-grossing film in the post-pandemic era.
