RRR: Naatu Naatu singer reveals how the industry ignored him before the Golden Globe win

RRR has made India proud and the manner in which the film is winning international acclaim is there for us all to see. Naatu Naatu, the crazy song from the film won the prestigious Golden Globe Award, and Keeravani, the music composer collected the award on behalf of his team. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava have sung this song.

Speaking about Rahul Sipligunj, he has come a long way in his career and has been there in the industry for over a decade now. He started by singing solo numbers for private albums and was trolled for the adult lyrics in many of his songs. But from there, he changed his approach and started singing film songs.

Rahul was quite popular for his songs in Ismart Shankar and many of Keeravani's films. Speaking in an interview, Rahul says that he has given so many hits but was never even nominated for any award in his long career. He was not even invited to perform at these award shows despite having big hits under his belt says Rahul. But things changed with Naatu Naatu as film gave him the biggest honor.

Rahul also adds in the promo released that all those who ignored his work are after him for work and the word around him has changed in a big way. What's special is that Rahul is also making his acting debut with the Prakash Raj film Ranga Marthanda. He will be seen in a serious role in this film which is being directed by Krishna Vamsi.
