Rajamouli’s pan-Indian mega project RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead in getting ready for its release. The latest news is that PVR has launched PVRRR, a Non-fungible token (NFT) in association with the movie.

PVR will award the winners of a contest on PVR and SPI Digital channels to own exclusive digital collectibles of the movie. This makes PVR one of the first movie exhibitors in the country to promote a movie using movie NFTs.

Fans will get a chance to win the six digital collectibles by booking tickets to the movie through the PVR or SPI website. Happening from March 20 to March 25, PVR will select 300 contestants who will win the prize.

The contents come after the collaboration of the movie exhibitors with DVV Entertainment, makers of the movie. PVR has also reimagined its brand identity to promote RRR.

After a number of delays, the director’s latest project, RRR, will hit theatres nationwide on March 25. The film tells the story of two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively.

Apart from Ram Charan and NTR, the movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Samuthirakani, among others.

RRR, which is one of the most anticipated projects of the year, also became the first movie to release in the Dolby Cinema format. The movie will also be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and other foreign languages.
