SS Rajamouli received immense praise and respect from around the world after making Babubali in 2015. Meanwhile, his latest directorial RRR has gathered him even more recognition globally. The Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer was considered a superhit in a few hours after its release, while it also majorly increased the ace filmmaker's fan following internationally. Reportedly RRR is currently trending at the No. 1 position in Pakistan and other countries as well.

Post its theatrical release, RRR has recently debuted on Netflix and ZEE5 for digital streaming. The stardom that was fading away due to other releases in Indian cinema has again rose after the action-drama movie's OTT premiere.

Along with Pakistan, the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer is trending heavily and receiving acclaim in UAE, Bangladesh, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore and even in the USA.

Set in the backdrop of the Indian freedom fighting movement during the 1920s, the period action drama film revolves around two revolutionaries and their journey from being away from home to becoming the legendary freedom fighters for their country.

Apart from Ram and NTR, the movie also features Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris in major roles and also marks the Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt's Telugu debut. 

Made with a budget of Rs 550 crore, the film earned around Rs 1200 crore globally. The story of RRR is by V. Vijayendra Prasad, while the screenplay of the blockbuster film has been penned by the director himself.

RRR is available to stream on Zee5 and Netflix in Hindi, Tami, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
