The much-awaited teaser for RRR is finally out and SS Rajamouli indeed knows how to make fans excited for his magnum opus. The 48-second-long video features the star cast from the film in their delightful look but the makers made sure to not reveal much about the plot. The video starts with Ajay Devgn's character showing his aggressiveness and Alia Bhatt captured in a pensive mode. Both the actors have limited screen time in the short teaser.

Whereas the lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan who play the lead characters of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju come together for the biggest showdown and even celebrate their friendship. There's also a huge fighting sequence between a tiger and Ram which ends the teaser for RRR.

The best part about the teaser is there are no dialogues and it's only the action and the expressions of the actor do the talking.

RRR also features Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran and others in pivotal roles.

The film is presented by D. Parvathi and produced by DVV Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainment. While V. Vijayendra Prasad has penned the screenplay.

Earlier, during the teaser launch event, when Rajamouli was quizzed about roping in actors namely Ajay and Alia in the 'South' film RRR, the ace filmmaker stated, "I stopped looking at actors as South and North or Hindi, Tamil, Kannada. I stopped looking at stars like that. Even before that, I stopped looking at audiences as Hindi, Tamil, Bengali or Malayalam or anything like that. I just look at them as an Indian audience."

The Baahubali helmer further said, "Once I write down the script, I look at which actor will look best in this part or character. If he is a Malayali, he's a Malayali, if he's a Bengali, he's a Bengali, if he's a Marathi, he's a Marathi. I just approach the actor and say this is the script that I have, this is the role that I have, would you be interested? Of course, I can't deny the fact that Baahubali behind me helps a lot, but I don't go with the visiting card of Baahubali. I go with the visiting card of my script and my characterisations."

RRR is set to hit the big screens on January 7, 2022.
