RRR: Trailer of Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer to be released on THIS date

Fans anxiously anticipating the release of the much hyped RRR’s trailer may have to wait a tad bit longer. The makers have recently announced that the upcoming film’s trailer will be released on December 9.

The trailer’s earlier release date of December 3 had been postponed due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, as described by the makers.

The recent announcement was made on the official social media handles of the film. It was accompanied by a new poster featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The duo are seen in a race ready stance with elemental symbols in the background. While NTR's character features water, Charan seemingly has flames behind him.

The post was captioned “RRRTrailer out on December 9th.🤘🏻Gear up for a massive explosion 💥#RRRTrailerOnDec9th #RRRMovie”

RRR is a fictionalised story revolving around Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who were Indian revolutionaries and tribal leaders of the 1920s. It is portrayed by Charan and NTR respectively. Raju had led the Rampa Rebellion of 1922 against the British Raj while Bheem had been a key figure in the 1930s battles against the Nizam rulers of Hyderabad.

In addition to NTR and Charan, the film’s cast also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran. The upcoming film is directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments.

RRR is slated for a theatrical release on January 7, 2022 and will be released in multiple languages.
