Many pan Indian films after Baahubali have arrived and gone trying to recreate the impact that SS Rajamouli generated on the big screen but hardly any have come even half way close. It has taken another SS Rajamouli film like RRR (to release on January 7, 2022), to reiterate the wonders that international standards of filmmaking can do to Indian cinema. RRR stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani and Rahul Ramakrishna in lead roles. The trailer of the film was screened at theatres across India and later released on Youtube today.

The trailer commences with Rajeev Kanakala informing that a Governor named Scott has brought a small girl from the Gond tribe to his place and warns that they may have to face serious repurcussions from the tribal leader Komaram Bheem. Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem is introduced in a rustic avatar amidst a forest where he is seen roaring at a tiger. To put Komaram Bheem in check, the British employs a ferocious police officer Alluri Rama Raju. Interestingly, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Rama Raju forge a strong rapport soon after, ready to give their life for one another but end up landing in complex situations.

Alluri Rama Raju is even forced to arrest Komaram Bheem in a move put forward by the British. There are a few shots where a girl pleads to saved from the colonial rulers as well. It takes time for Alluri to undo his actions while his love interest Sita needs to pay the price. The trailer also introduces us to a British girl (played by Olivia Morris), a spirited freedom fighter (played by Ajay Devgn). The action-packed ending in the teaser has Ram Charan wearing a saffronised dhoti and uniting with Komaram Bheem to put an end to the menace of the British rule.
