Rudra: The Edge of Darkness: Ajay Devgn's OTT debut series trailer to be out on THIS date

The highly-anticipated trailer of the Ajay Devgn starrer Rudra is set to be out on January 29. The Hotstar specials series also stars Raashii Khanna in her OTT debut alongside Esha Deol. The Dhoom actress is reuniting with the Shivay actor onscreen after nearly 15 years.

The makers announced the date of trailer release for the series by unveiling a poster featuring Ajay on the official Instagram handle of the OTT giant. The caption mentioned by Disney+ Hotstar reads, "Crime is officially out of time. #HotstarSpecials #Rudra - Trailer out tomorrow. #RudraTrailerTomorrow #RudraOnHotstar (sic)."

Apart from Raashii, Rudra also marks the digital debut of Ajay and Esha.

Last year, in an interview, the Kaal actress revealed her thoughts on reuniting with the Golmaal star and mentioned that she looking forward to working with him, who has been a fantastic co-star to her in many films. Talking about her debut web series, the actress said that Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness is a fresh take on the quintessential cop drama, which has not been explored in the Indian context before. "It has a grey overtone," she added.

Esha also shared the announcement of the trailer release date with her fans on Instagram with a quirky caption.

Based on the British TV show Luther, the forthcoming web show also has Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar and Ashish Vidyarthi in key roles. 

The rights to remake the hit BBC One's drama has been acquired by Applause Entertainment, while Rajesh Mapuskar is the director of Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, which is set to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar soon.
