Rules Ranjann, featuring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Ssetty, hit the screens on October 6, 2023, and ended as a massive dud at the box office. We at OTTplay were the first ones to report that Amazon Prime has bagged the OTT rights to the film for a fancy price.
As the film flopped, there was news that the OTT release date would be advanced and Rules Ranjann would be streaming in the last week of December 2023. Well, half of November has also gone by and there is no sight of the film getting released on Amazon Prime yet.

The reason for the film not yet being released is not yet known. However, one of the sources close to the team says that the comedy caper might be released in the last week of November 2023. Of late, several OTT platforms are not showing much interest in the films that flop at the box office. So, it is not clear whether Amazon will stay as the OTT partner or has backed out of the deal.

Rathinam Krishna directed this film, which has a Mumbai backdrop. Rules Ranjann was released on October 6, 2023, along with five other low-budget films: The Great Indian Suicide, Month of Madhu, Mama Mascheendra, 800, and MAD.
Out of all these films, Rules Ranjann was the one that was released with the most negative talk. Neha Sshetty looked ravishing in all the songs and shared a sizzling chemistry with Kiran Abbavaram.
