Runway 34: Ajay Devgn says Amitabh Bachchan puts the entire film unit ‘under stress’, here’s why!

As the film is nearing its release, the team of Runway 34 is going in full swing to promote it. Directed by Ajay Devgn, the film stars himself in the lead role along with Rakul Preet Singh. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh, among others. This is the recent collaboration of Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh with their co-star Amitabh Bachchan and they have nothing less to talk about when it comes to his work ethics and commitment.

"It's not just inspirational, It's incredible," Ajay Devgn said to ETimes. He added that senior Bachchan is still so passionate and dedicated to his work and that he never leaves the set or goes to his trailer van to take a break. He refuses to take a break even when the team asks him to. The actor and filmmaker also said that he is always early on the sets. He reaches hours before his call time. If the call time is 11 am, he would be at the sets by 9 am, putting the entire unit under stress. But he added that it is great to have him around as the entire team gets energetic when he reaches the sets. 

Rakul Preet too recalled the filming days with the legendary actor. She said she was taken aback on the first day of the shoot itself. She said that Bachchan had learned all his lines for the entire 10 days of filming that they were required to do on the first day itself. And that totally surprised her. She was awestruck by his process of work and his passion.

Runway 34 marks the second collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. The two had earlier worked on the rom-com, De De Pyaar De, which also featured Tabu in the lead role. The film was released in 2019.

Meanwhile, the film Runway 34 will land in theatres near you on April 29, on Eid.
