Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 has hit theatres and has been receiving fairly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan in important roles. In a recent conversation, Singh, opened up about the challenges she faced during the courtroom scenes with Bachchan.

Talking about the filming of the scene to Times of India, Rahul Preet Singh remembered that to perform with a certain vulnerability and without any evident retaliation to Bachchan’s character was the most challenging thing.

She added that Bachchan’s character adds a lot of tension and panic in her character and that she had to express a lot of the emotions with her eyes and body language because there were not too many dialogues. “So today, I don’t know how I did it. There was no formula or a method to do it correctly. At that time, I just saw the scene as a chance to deliver an honest performance,” she said.

Rakul also added that when working with an actor, such as the legendary Bachchan, one could feed off his energy and that his performance will also draw out the best in yourself.

Directed by Ajay Devgn, Runway 34 is the actor’s third directorial. Apart from Devgn, Rakul and Bachchan, the movie also features Boman Irani, Angira Dhar, Aakanksha Singh and YouTuber CarryMinati in other roles.

The OTTplay’s review of the movie reads, “Runway 34 is Ajay Devgn's best work as a director, and it's more on the technical side. The story might come as a surprise to many who haven't watched several international films based on aviation thrillers.”

The film is currently running in theatres.
