The tragic death of well-known television actor Nitesh Pandey has shocked everyone. The popular actor who played Dheeraj Kapoor in Rupali Ganguly's superhit show "Anupamaa" passed away at 2 in the morning in Igatpuri after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 51 years old.  

Over the course of a more than 25-year acting career, Nitesh Pandey appeared in films like Om Shanti Om and Khosla ka Ghosla as well as TV dramas like Saaya, Banegi Apni Baat, Justajoo, and Durgesh Nandini.

The actor's mortal remains were returned from Igatpuri to Mumbai, where the actor's last rituals were performed. Rupali Gnaguly was seen arriving to pay her respects in a paparazzi video. As she paid respect to the late star, the actress seen getting teary-eyed. 

Earlier, in a statement, Rupali said, “He was the only industry friend who stayed constantly in touch with me apart from Delnaaz and Sarabhai cast during my sabbatical. He had even come to meet me after my son Rudransh was born. I can’t believe this. His son Aarav is just a few months older than Rudransh. He had messaged me just last week about a painting he had made and we had made plans to make our sons meet.”

Nitesh suffered a heart arrest while he was in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. On Tuesday night, Pandey went to the hotel's restaurant to make a dinner order. At 10.30 p.m., he requested that they deliver the dinner to his room. The hotel employees used a master key to unlock Pandey's door when he failed to enter it during the night and discovered him unconscious inside. He was sent to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to a preliminary postmortem assessment, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.
