The Russo brothers announced they have wrapped up the filming of their latest movie, Netflix’s The Gray Man. With Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead role, the highly anticipated movie also features Dhanush.

Joe and Anthony Russo, known as the Russo brothers have become hot property after their involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The duo previously directed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame and their global success has made them a most sought after directing partnership.

The Russo brothers have had their eyes on The Gray Man since 2014 but it only started materialising in 2020, when it moved to Netflix. With a reported budget of $200 million, this action thriller becomes the most expensive film produced by Netflix.

Based on the novel of the same name by Mark Greaney, the film is about veteran CIA agent Court Gentry played by Ryan Gosling and hitman Llyod Hansen played by Chris Evans, who is hunting the CIA agent down. The concept of the duelling assassins played by the two stars as well as the Russo brothers helming the project has made The Gray Man one of the most anticipated movies.

After months of filming, the Russo brothers announced the film's wrapping through an Instagram post. Russo's production company AGBO later confirmed it by sharing a video from the moment The Gray Man wrapped. The production of the film started in 2021 after it was initially delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The involvement of Tamil superstar Dhanush has already made it a highly anticipated film in India. The Netflix original also stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Rege-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard, Callan Mulvey and Michael Gandolfini among others.
