Russo Brothers: We are impressed by the level of discipline and quality that Priyanka Chopra or Dhanush bring to the set

The Russo Brothers, Anthony and Joe, have spent the last five years working their magic to create the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from Captain America to Avengers: Endgame. They are currently focusing on India.

As per Hindustan Times, the brothers acknowledge that working with Indian talent has turned out to be their specific focus, and they are currently engaged in creating a web of "desi" storylines supported by Indian talent. In fact, it is demonstrated by their work with actor Dhanush in their next action film, The Gray Man, since Joe claims that the character was specifically designed for him.

Joe told the leading daily that working with Dhanush was fantastic, and he was amazing in the movie. The filmmaker called the actor a very talented action performer who has excellent body control and discipline. In the movie, Dhanush has two of Joe's favourite combat scenes.

The action-loving brothers came across the amazing Dhanush while conducting research. They had him in mind from the very beginning of the scripting process. For him, they created the role, and working with it was wonderful. Joe adores continuing to work with him, saying he is a nice person and a really gifted actor.

The pair's relationship with India began when they travelled there to promote the Avengers movie; the encounter left a deep imprint on their minds. Since then, they have collaborated on projects with Priyanka Chopra in Citadel, Raj & DK with the Indian adaptation of Citadel, and brought Chris Hemsworth to India to film Extraction.

Joe said that India has a powerful and excellent film sector just like the US. Sadly, it hasn't consistently succeeded on a global scale. Actors, writers, and directors come in such plenty. As a result, they have made it a special goal of theirs to try and share some of that skill with the globe through their stories and to help the world learn more about India.

They are astonished by the degree of professionalism and talent that Indian performers, whether they are Priyanka or Dhanush, bring to the set. They are well organised and have contributed so much to Indian cinema that they are familiar with the location and style of the camera. They have extensive training in all areas of performance, he continues, disclosing that they have a list of Indian actors they would like to collaborate with.

But he adds that right now, he is most enthusiastic about working with Raj and DK.
