S J Suryah had a fabulous 2023 with the actor delivering brilliant performances. From Mark Antony to the super hit Jigarthanda DoubleX the Tamil actor has been serving fans with some of the quality content in cinema. The actor who will be next seen in actor-turned director Dhanush’s second directorial which has been tentatively titled D50, praised the Asuran actor for his ‘dedication’ to direction. 

The Tamil actor took to his social media to wish Dhanush’s third directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. He wrote, “Avaru super director TOO …. @dhanushkraja-ku Direction mela Yenna veri yenna dedication Avaru Vera level #D50 our content, different treatment , “raw&rustic” international output sjs & all the best to NEEK TOO”. (sic).

The director praised the actor’s dedication and passion towards direction. The actor also hinted that D50, which is touted to be a gangster film, is expected to be ‘raw and rustic and promises a wholesome yet complete-power packed cinema experience. 

S J Suryah’s comment has sparked curiosity among netizens who are eagerly awaiting to see what the Asuran star has in-store for his fans.

For the uninitiated, D50 is the second directorial venture of the actor Dhanush. The film is said to be a gangster film, set in North Chennai and follows the lives of three brothers, played by actors Vishnu Vishal, SJ Suryah and Dhanush himself.

Dhanush who has been focussing more with his directorial ventures, recently released the title poster of his third directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The film stars Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Rabiya Khatoon, Pavish V, Ramya Ranganathan and Venkatesh Menon. The movie is touted to be a love story and is currently in post-production stage. The first look promises a fun coming-of-age romantic drama. The movie bankrolled under Dhanush’s home banner - Wunderbar Films.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, the actor is gearing up for the release of the period action film Captain Miller, which is set in the 1930s-40. The movie follows an LTTE rebel, named Miller. Helmed by Arun Matheswaran, the cast also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Niveditha Sathish, John Kokken and Elango Kumaravel in pivotal roles.
