Selvaraghavan is a filmmaker who has delivered some exceptional Tamil films as a director. The director has now taken the lead alongside Keerthy Suresh in Saani Kaayidham. The director has now revealed that he used to constantly call his brother and star Dhanush for acting inputs.

Talking to Indian Express, the actor-director said that his brother used to tell him that he will understand all the difficulties of acting only when he steps up in front of the camera. He adds that he never understood it then, but when he started filming for Saani Kaayidham, he understood how hard it is to perform and get in the mood.

“I used to call him every half an hour to take his input. ‘What should I do now? Now, I am bored. Can I read a book between the breaks? He guided me all the time,” said Selvaraghavan.

The filmmaker made his acting debut with Vijay’s superhit action entertainer, Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. While he plays a supporting role in the movie, Saani Kaayidham will see him and Keerthy as the main leads.

The filmmaker also talked about his co-star Keerthy in an exclusive with OTTplay. “She's already an accomplished actress, a National Award winning performer. She lived her character, I could see her adapting to her role in different ways.” he said.

Saani Kaayidham is directed by Arun Matheswaran, who recently impressed with his directorial debut titled Rocky, The movie sees Selvaraghavan and Keerthy play siblings who set out for revenge after a group of people destroy their lives.

Saani Kaayidham is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
