Dimple Kapadia’s powerhouse performances and stunning screen presence need no introduction. One of the most talented and versatile actresses in Indian cinema, Dimple has worked in several critically acclaimed films over the decades. After her recent performance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, the veteran actress is now engaging audiences with the power-packed trailer of Homi Adajania’s upcoming crime drama television series Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo. Heaping praises on Dimple, her co-star in the Disney+ Hotstar show, Radhika Madan, recently said that watching the iconic actress perform was “like an acting school” for her.

Scheduled to release on May 5, Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo also features Rajeev Ankit, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, Isha Talwar, Mark Bennington, Angira Dhar, Deepak Dobriyal and Monica Dogra in pivotal roles.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Radhika - who is known for her performance in films and series like Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Angrezi Medium, Shiddat, Ray, Feels Like Ishq and Kuttey - Radhika said that it was an honour for her to work with the Dimple on the show. “I think she’s the warmest person that I know and she’s secure in her being that she can offer that kind of love. Just watching her perform is like an acting school I would say. She still gets those jitters and she’s the hardest worker in the room. The way she takes care of everyone, she uplifts everyone. It was such an honour to be in the same frame as her. I’m really really grateful for this experience.”

In Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, Dimple essays the character of a gritty mother-in-law Savitri (who is popularly known as Rani Ba). She owns a drug cartel that she runs from home in a remote village at a salt flatland. Her employees are mostly young tenacious women. Radhika plays Savitri's daughter, Shanta, in the series.
