Sabdham OTT release: Aadhi Pinisetty-Arivazhagan horror thriller finds digital home after one year of release

Sabdham, the 2025 Tamil horror thriller starring Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead role, is now available for streaming. The film had found a digital home after more than one year of its theatrical run, in ZEE5. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also stream the film.

Sabdham OTT release: Where to stream the Tamil horror film?

For fans of horror, this week’s OTT releases in Tamil will include the 2025 horror thriller Sabdham. The film stars Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead role, with Arivazhagan helming it. Sabdham had released in theatres in February 2025 and after one year since its release, is to stream on ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium. The streaming platform announced that Sabdham is streaming and as of now, it is only available in Tamil. However, the film is yet to make its debut on the platform.

Sabdham marks the reunion of actor Aadhi with director Arivazhagan after their earlier horror outing Eeram. While the latter had won critical acclaim and good reception among audience, Sabdham failed to do the same and had average run at the box office.

What is the story of Sabdham?

Sabdham revolves around a paranormal investigator Ruben who is consulted by a college after a series of mysterious deaths occur of medical students. Ruben meets a resident doctor who does not believe in ghosts, as the duo gets into the murky past of the college. Actors Aadhi, Lakshmi Menon, Simran, Laila, Redin Kingsley, MS Bhaskar, Rajiv Menon, and others are part of the cast.

What to watch this week?

While you can stream Sabdham soon, in this week’s OTT releases, there are also Tamil web series Kaattaan starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by M Manikandan, and family drama Naangal. Both will be out on March 27. While Kaattaan will premiere on JioHotstar, Naangal will release on SunNXT via OTTplay Premium. Meanwhile, in theatres, GV Prakash-starrer romantic comedy drama Happy Raj is also releasing in theatres.
