Sabdham release date: Aadhi and Arivazhagan’s horror thriller to hit big screens soon

Sabdham, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead role, is all set to hit big screens in February next year. The release date has been locked, with the Aadhi-starrer to release on February 28, 2025. The horror thriller film is helmed by Arivazhagan.

Sabdham release date out

We had earlier reported that actor Aadhi Pinesetty and director Arivazhagan are all set to reunite once again after their critically acclaimed horror film Eeram. The duo is now back for yet another horror film titled Sabdham. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 28, the makers announced on the occasion of Christmas.

The film, which is billed to be a horror thriller film, also stars Lakshmi Menon, Laila, Redin Kinglsey, and Simran. Arivazhagan is making his debut as a producer with Sabdham. He is producing the film under his banner Aalpha Frames, along with 7G Films. Sabdham will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.

The technical crew of Sabdham consists of S Thaman scoring the music, while Arun Bathmanaban has cranked the camera, and VJ Sabu has handled the editing. Arivazhagan had earlier worked with Thaman on his previous films including Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam.

Where to watch Eeram

While you wait for release of Sabdham, you can revisit Arivazhagan’s Eeram, a horror film which released in 2009, on Google Play and YouTube. The film stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Nandha, Sindhu Menon, Saranya Mohan, Srinath, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, and Krishna among others.

The film marked the director's debut and was backed by Shankar. Eeram went on to become one of the critically acclaimed horror films. It revolves around a police officer who probes the death of his former girlfriend. S Thaman’s score for the film as well songs were highly lauded.

Meanwhile, Aadi was last seen in the science fiction crime comedy Partner, which was Manoj Damodharanin's directorial debut. Arivazhagan last made web series Tamil Rockerz streaming on SonyLIV.
