Sabyasachi Choudhury explains the delay in the Ramprasad telecast

The promo of the Star Jalsa serial Sadhak Ramprasad was shot last year and telecasted in January. But it is still not clear when it will start. Sabyasachi Choudhury is making his comeback with this serial. Susmeli Acharya and Payel Dey are also acting in the show. The shooting has started. Sabyasachi recently said that the channel did not give any slot to Ramprasad. Hence, the telecast is not finalised yet.

There has been a tiff between the channels and the cable operators for the last few days. The telecast was stopped in several places for several days. According to the new rule of TRAI, some channels' price was raised exorbitantly. Hence the cable operators stopped telecasting, which affected the serials like Ramprasad. 

Now, the fans are anxious about whether a situation will arise when the serial will not be telecasted at all. It happened with new serials like Kutumbari and Rabir Notun Bouthan. However, this is a far-fetched possibility for Ramprasad. The telecast will most probably start in March. 

Previously, Sabyasachi won the audience's hearts by playing Bamakkhyapa in the serial Mahapith Tarapith. The audience is interested to see him once again in a historical role. Recently a promo video was shared by Jalsa where Sabyasachi was heard saying 'while shooting at midnight in December, I thought I went back a hundred years. The wedding mandap was decorated exactly like it used to be in those days. It is unbelievable how much energy the team had at midnight. I am fortunate to work with such a team and a channel for years.'
