Sahana Dutta gears up with the TV serial, Nag Panchami

Scriptwriter Sahana Dutta is all set to come up with her new serial, Nag Panchami. With Susmita Dey and Rajdeep Gupta in the lead, the story centres around supernatural power. While the team or the channel is yet to come up with an official confirmation, the look set of the serial is already done. 

According to sources close to the production team, the promo shoot will take place in a few days. The team is scheduled to travel to Bolpur for the promo shoot, the sources said. While we have seen many Hindi serials that deal with supernatural powers, it is not a widely common theme in Bengal. The VFX work has taken an important place in those serials. Will the same happen here? The answer is unknown yet. 

As per sources, previously Nabanita Das got the offer of this serial. However, she is replaced by Susmita. It is still unknown when the new serial will be shown. However, it may be assumed that it will be dropped soon. Only time will tell how Susmita and Rajdeep attract the audience’s attention. 

Meanwhile, Sahana Dutta’s Hello Remember Me was dropped on Hoichoi on October 21. The series that features Ishaa Saha and Paayel Sarkar delves into a story of an obsessive lover. The show also features Sourav Chakraborty, Laboni Sarkar, and others. Hello, Remember Me is a spin-off of Hoichoi’s previous show Hello. Directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, the show received a lukewarm reception from the viewers. 

Meanwhile, Sahana is all geared up with the second season of Indu with Ishaa and Gora with Ritwick Chakraborty. Besides, her Gobhir Joler Machch has Trina Saha, Ushasi Ray, Swastika Dutta, and Ananya Sen and will also be released soon.
