Dancer-turned-actor Sai Ronak, who forayed into the film industry with Paathshaala and made a name for himself with projects like Guppedantha Prema, Pressure Cooker and Panchatantra Kathalu, will be seen in a crime comedy titled Raajahyogam next. Written and directed by Ram Ganapathi, the film, that features Ankita Saha and Bismi Naas as the leading ladies, is all set to hit theatres on December 30. The theatrical trailer of Raajahyogam was launched by director Maruthi today.
Raajahyogam’s trailer takes you through the life of Rishi, who’s introduced as a rich kid, and later falls for a girl named Sri. When they’re head over heels in love with one another, the focus shifts to a petty goon (played by Ajay Ghosh) later. A couple of characters lead him to a gangster named Daniel and another subplot around the theft of a diamond. The film revolves around money, cops, goons, cat-and-mouse chases, offering viewers a mix of dark humour, romance and interesting twists.
At the trailer launch, director Maruthi, while applauding the team’s efforts, shared, “I really liked the trailer. It looks like the film has several commercial elements including romance, action and comedy. My friend Ganapathi has made an out-and-out entertainer and Sai Ronak’s performance looks impressive. The film has a host of comedians in its lineup and I congratulate the producer for making Raajahyogam. I wish the team the very best for its theatrical release.”
The teaser and the songs of Raajahyogam were launched a few weeks ago. Mani Lakshman Rao is bankrolling the film under Sri Navabala Creations and Vaishnavi Natraj Productions. Ajay Ghosh, Praveen, Giri, Bhadram, Shakalaka Shankar, Thagubothu Ramesh, Chitram Srinu, Sijju, Madhunandan and others play supporting roles in the film which has cinematography by Vijay C Kumar and music by Arun Muralidharan. Karthika Srinivas is the editor and Chintapalli Ramana is the dialogue writer.
