Saif Ali Khan-Jaideep Ahlawat's Jewel Thief was among one of the most-awaited OTT releases this week, but it might just be delayed at the end moment. The same is said to be a move to condemn the Pahalgham attacks. Although it is speculation at this point, the digital streaming platform Netflix might have also hinted at the same. Here's where the speculation began...

A tweet claiming Jewel Thief release is delayed

Jewel Thief is not yet out on OTT, and while it was expected to be on schedule, came a tweet early in the morning which has people speculating whether the film is actually delayed. There isn't much buzz around the same but the tweet definitely got people wondering if the makers have taken a stand against the Pahalgham attacks and decided to shift their release date owing to that.

Jewel Thief streaming platform still says Coming on Friday

The streaming platform, Netflix, still says that Saif Ali Khan-Jaideep Ahlawat's film is releasing on Friday. On the day of the release, the streaming platform usually changes it to streaming today but the claim of Coming on Friday makes one wonder if there is actually a delay in the movie's release.

Who all are a part of Jewel Thief?

The Broken News actor Jaideep Ahlawat and Saif Ali Khan are the central characters in Jewel Thief. The movie also stars Kaun Kitney Paani Mein actor Kunal Kapoor in the role of an inspector.

Jewel Thief is the story of a heist pulled off by a charismatic thief (played by Saif). The aim is to get the Red Sun. He is hired by Jaideep Ahlawat's Rajan Aulakh, and the two get into major fights throughout the movie over the very jewel.
