Saif Ali Khan became the centre of attention among trolls when after being stabbed and getting hospitalized, he magically recovered within a week and came back home with minimum visible damage. Jaideep Ahlawat, who has worked with him in the Netflix film Jewel Thief, now came to his co-star’s defence when he shared that he has seen the scars left behind and that Saif is actually still in recovery but being the professional, he is back to working in movies. Saif was recently seen promoting their movie at the Netflix event too. Here’s what Jaideep Ahlawat said about his co-star…
Saif Ali Khan has been trolled continuously over his ‘miraculous’ recovery within a week, given how deep his stab wounds were described. Jaideep Ahlawat, who works with him in the Netflix film Jewel Thief next, shared his side and came to defend his co-star by stating that he has seen the scars left behind since the incident. "I know he is hurt. I have seen those marks and everything," he shared with Hindustan Times.
Back when he had attended the announcement for Jewel Thief, Saif had expressed relief in his own way. He had said, "It's very nice to be standing here in front of you…it feels very nice to be here." The actor was spotted with a black cast on his hand (thankfully not with a strap over his shoulder) and a bandange on his neck. He further expressed how great it was to work on the film and with a co-star like Jaideep Ahlawat.
Saif Ali Khan suffered six injuries, including two deep cuts, when an intruder entered his home and stabbed the actor. Saif was hospitalized for five days and underwent two surgeries. He was discharged from the hospital within a week of the incident, leaving people curious at his surprising recovery rate. That led to him being trolled and various suspicions being raised. Nonetheless, it is truly great to see Saif back up and working, even ready to promote and release his upcoming Netflix film, Jewel Thief.
