Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 1: Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, marks the debuts of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The film was one of the most anticipated musical dramas of 2025, and, as expected, it has been doing amazingly well at the box office, according to Sacnilk figures. The first day collection has already surpassed the Aashiqui 2 collection. Let's find out the details about the Saiyaara movie earnings.
Saiyaara, which has been giving Aashiqui 2 vibes right from when it was announced, has outshone the first-day box office collection. Saiyaara, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has created history with its first-day release in Indian theatres, setting an example for the industry.
As per Sacnilk, Saiyaara has collected an excellent Rs. 20 crore on the first day. On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's Aashiqui 2 collected Rs. 6.10 crore on its first day back in 2013.
Meanwhile, Saiyaara also surpassed 2025 releases, such as Sitaare Zameen Par, starring Aamir Khan, which collected ₹10.7 crore; and Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force, which released during a holiday weekend and earned ₹12.25 crore on its first day.
On Friday, Saiyaara had a total audience share of 44.33% of the total Hindi film audience. The film now holds the record for the highest opening day grosser for a Hindi film starring newcomers in the lead roles. The previous record was held by Dhadak, which debuted Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in 2018. The film earned Rs 8.76 crore in India on its release day.
The OTTplay review for Saiyaara reads, "Saiyaara doesn’t reinvent the wheel of romance, but it sure makes it spin with heart. While its story may echo familiar chords, the harmony between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda hits the right notes."

Meanwhile, Saiyaara is a love story that revolves around Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a struggling singer-composer, and Vani Batra (Aneet Padda), a poet and lyricist, who meet and find solace in each other amidst personal struggles. Their relationship deepens, but Vani is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, which poses a significant obstacle. The film explores themes of love, loss, and the power of music to connect and heal, against the backdrop of the music industry.
