Saiyami Kher stated her joy at having an Anurag Kashyap film on her resume so early in her career when she was fronting Netflix's Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai (2020). Another Kashyap film has come her way after two years. Together, Kher and Gulshan Devaiah will star in an unnamed drama that Kashyap will produce.

Kher told Mid Day that it's a fascinating project that people will remember for a very long time. She called Gulshan a deeply imaginative and skilled actor. They were comfortable working together on Amazon Prime Video's Unpaused's debut season in 2020.

The movie is currently being filmed in Hyderabad and is described as an emotional drama. The project will be directed by a Telugu filmmaker. Kher is combining the shooting of the drama with the firefighter-themed film Agni, directed by Rahul Dholakia.

When one mentions how disconcerting it might be to switch between the worlds of two films, she responds by saying that for an actor, having numerous projects and juggling dates is the best challenge to have. If one doesn't have time to transition in and out of a particular persona, juggling projects can be difficult. This year, she has been filming nonstop. This is her fifth shoot in 2022 after two years of lockdown kept them from moving further. The actor wants this stage to go on forever.

She will shortly appear in Ghoomer and Breathe: Into the Shadows' third season. Both the film features Abhishek A Bachchan in the lead roles.

Kher made her acting debut in the Telugu film Rey in 2015, and the following year, she co-starred with Harsh Vardhan Kapoor in Mirzya, a Hindi film based on the Punjabi folktale Mirza Sahiban.

She co-starred with Abhishek in Mayank Sharma's Amazon Prime Video series Breathe: Into The Shadows in 2020.

She played an NIA agent in the 2021 Telugu film Wild Dog, starring Nagarjuna Akkineni. The movie's theatrical debut occurred on April 2, 2021, and then it appeared on Netflix.
