Salaam Venky: Megastar Chiranjeevi hails Revathy, Kajol and Aamir Khan for their ‘fantastic’ film

Team Salaam Venky has won over a very special actor, and his sweet message has definitely made Twitter users happy.

The megastar in question, who is all praise for Revathy and team Salaam Venky, is none other than Chiranjeevi. On Thursday, he took to Twitter and had wonderful things to say about Revathy and how she is pushing boundaries as a director and paving the way for other ‘women directors’ as well.

“Kudos to Revathy for her conviction and brilliance in making Salaam Venky, the true story of a Young Chess player's struggle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare disorder.  More power to you Revathy! ... You inspire all directors & women directors even more with such courageous & relevant stories,” wrote the megastar.

Chiranjeevi then went on to say how he is ‘hearing’ wonderful things about the movie and the performances that the star cast as collectively delivered in the movie.

“Hearing great things about how the fantastic Kajol, my brother Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Rahul Bose, & the wonderful Vishal Jethwa delivered superb performances … Also, congrats to my dear friend Aamir Khan for being a part of this brave attempt. Lastly, very moved to recall that I had met the real life Venky fleetingly, years ago at the Apollo hospital before he succumbed to this disorder. Heartened to know he was my admirer. Do watch this emotionally charged tale of the triumph of human spirit,” added Chranjeevi.

Salaam Venky is about Sujata and her son Venky navigate several challenging situations with the biggest smile one can ever have and show us the true meaning of life in this Hindi family drama film.

Directed by Asha Kelunni or Revathi and written by Sameer Arora, Salaam Venky stars Kajol and Sunny Singh as the leads and the film is currently in theaters.
