The theatrical release of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire might still be a few days away but the celebrations surely have begun already. Bollywood capital city Mumbai is now host to a massive, 120-foot-tall cutout of the film's leading man Prabhas, suggesting that practically everyone's braced for the magnum opus which is set to release in theatres on December 22.

The size of the said cutout comes as no ordinary feat and if reports are to be believed, this could even be a record of its kind. Many would know that a similar gesture was executed during the release of KGF: Chapter 2 when a remarkable 101-foot-long cutout of 'Rocky Bhai' was erected outside Mumbai's Carnival Cinema. The 'Salaar' gang has outdone this achievement by some margin and an undetermined spot in Mumbai now boasts Prabhas' "violent man" pose of astounding proportions.

'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire', of course, remains a most-anticipated release of recent times and with the film arriving in cinemas a tad later than desired, one finds the audiences to be quite restless as well. Yet, the excitement for the big-screen experience is almost palpable at the moment and fans of Prabhas, in particular, are raring to see the actor spring into form.

Prashanth Neel, the writer-director, has evidently dedicated a lot of his time and effort to the film and one surmises that the delay in the theatrical release is a result of him not wanting to compromise on the quality of the final product. Interestingly, 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire', the first instalment of the intended two-part film, is now set to meet Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' (releasing on December 21) at the box office.

The latter stars Shah Rukh Khan, who looks to bookend his 2023 with another glorious success, having already scored two mega hits in 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.

For Prabhas, on the other hand, 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' seems like the right opportunity to return to his blockbuster ways, after having not particularly delivered to his fullest potential over the last couple of years. Regardless, the superstar enjoys enviable love and fame across film industries and looks to be at the top of his game in the upcoming release.
