Salaar is a film that everyone is waiting for eagerly. KGF fame Prashanth Neel is directing Prabhas for the first time in his career and the stakes are quite high. The film is nearing its completion and the post-production has already begun. The makers once again confirmed a few days back that the film will come on September 28th 2023 in multiple languages.
The pre-release business is in full swing and the makers have already locked the satellite rights for a whippoing 55 crores. Now the discussions are on for the OTT rights and there are terrific offers for the film. We have come to know from our close sources that the makers, Hombale Films are expecting no less than 200 crores for all languages on OTT.
The deals are on but the makers have not yet locked any OTT platform. Big corporate giants like Disney Hotstar, Netflix, and Amazon Prime are fighting it out and are looking to lock the deal anywhere between 150 to 170 crores but the makers are expecting close to 200 as per the news.
Salaar is one of the biggest films in India and will be a mass ride. Shruthi Haasan is cast opposite Prabhas for the first time and Prithiviraj Sukumaran is cast as the main villain. There is a talk that Salaar will also be made in two parts but there is no clarity on this news yet. For now, the film has become a hot cake and the makers are enjoying all the attention.
