Salaar: Prabhas joins Shruti Haasan for the second schedule

Upcoming action thriller flick Salaar helmed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel features Prabhas in the main role. The movie is billed as a Pan-India project and stars Shruti Haasan in the female lead. Because of the stellar casting, the fans are buzzing over the new update.

Makers of Salaar resumed the second schedule of the shooting yesterday (August 2) in Hyderabad. Prabhas is expected to join the team from today whereas Shruti has already resumed the shoot.

When the movie was announced last year, the Baahubali star had said that Salaar is a territory that is unexplored for him. He will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar and will play a vile character.

Meanwhile Prabhas is swamped with the shootings of his upcoming big-budget films. He has started shooting for Om Raut’s Adipurush already and is set to jump on to his next film with director Nag Ashwin.

Recently Shruti opened up on her experience working with Prabhas in an interview with Pinkvilla. She said that there is so much energy and excitement which is so lovely of him and that he is literally very down to earth.

“I have seen fake humility and fake down to earthness, and I'm like 'it is really nice you are behaving this yourself but that isn't really you.' I think we all have seen that, especially in the work environment...but the thing is, he is really down to earth and chill, which is refreshing,” she further added.

Shruti also mentioned that Prabhas is very aware of his super stardom and position in the industry but he never makes one feel so and that is very benevolent of him. The actor concluded by stating that the whole team of Salaar which includes the director and everyone else has such a good vibe.
