Salaga, Duniya Vijay's directorial debut, to have its world television premiere on July 24

Actor Duniya Vijay's fans have been eagerly looking forward to the OTT premiere of Salaga, the actor's directorial debut. In an era when almost every mainstream film finds an OTT release soon after its theatrical run, the makers have refrained thus far from bringing the film to the small screen. Well, it would seem that the wait is finally over for all the fans (in a way) as Salaga gears up for a grand television debut on July 24. 

Yes, although the OTT release is still not on cards, the action-drama will have its World Television Premiere on the popular Kannada channel Udaya TV. Salaga will make its way out onto the small screens on July 24 at 6:30 pm. Producer K.P. Sreekanth took to social media recently share this exciting update.

Salaga, written and directed by Duniya Vijay who also stars in the titular role, is a gritty revenge drama set against the backdrop of the Bengaluru underworld. Daali Dhananjaya plays the role of ACP Samrat with Sanjana Anand, Nagabhushana, BV Bhaskar, and Achyuth Kumar playing pivotal roles in the film.

Aside from the commercial elements, Salaga's vibrant soundtrack too can be cited as one of its main highlights. Composed by Charan Raj, the music of Salaga features a number of hit songs such as Suri Anna, Tiningaa Miningaa Tishaaa, and the highly popular title track (sung by Yogi B, Sanjith Hegde, Sharath, and Charan Raj).

On the other hand, Duniya Vijay (or Vijay Kumar) is currently busy directing his second film Bheema. Vijay stars in the film in the lead role and is also launching a variety of actors through the film. He will also be making his Telugu debut as the antagonist Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy in the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NBK107, which also stars Shruti Haasan.
