Salman Khan congratulates Kriti Sanon for National Award win for Mimi, gives her a surprise

Salman Khan has congratulated Kriti Sanon for National Award win for her film, Mimi. The actress was conferred with the award recently. Salman gave Kriti a surprise, as she came on his TV show, Bigg Boss 17. Kriti came on the show with Tiger Shroff to promote their upcoming film, Ganapath.

Salman Khan’s surprise

After congratulating Kriti after her appearance on Bigg Boss 17 stage, Salman gave her a surprise. He grooved to Param Sundari with Kriti and Tiger. The song is from her movie, Mimi.

Best Actress award

Kriti won the Best Actress Award at the National Awards 2023. She won the award for her performance in Mimi, in which she played a pregnant woman through IVF. Not only Kriti but also Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress Award at the National Awards 2023. Alia was conferred with the award for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Ganapath’s performance

Ganapath brings Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon together after their debut film Heropanti together. The movie has released in theatres. The film has not been able to perform at the Box Office as well as the makers expected. The movie is helmed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani. The film released along with Yaariyan 2, featuring Divya Khosla Kumar.

Kriti’s only hit since Mimi

Since Mimi released in 2021, Kriti found only one semi-hit in theatres. The film is Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. She appeared in Bachchhan Paandey, Shehzada and Adipurush before Ganapath, all of which were disasters at the Box Office.
