Popularly known as ‘bhaijaan’ by his fans, actor Salman Khan is loved by millions of people to date. With a film career spanning over 35 years, the 57-year-old has received numerous awards, including two National Film Awards as a film producer and countless others as an actor. Some of his remarkable performances include, Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Dabangg 2 (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).
However, nowadays, the security of Khan has become a cause of concern for his fans and well-wishers. In a fresh update, Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular (LOC) against a man accused of sending threatening e-mail to actor Salman Khan.
As per the police officials, “A lookout notice has been issued against a man accused of sending an email threatening to kill actor Salman Khan in the name of (gangster) Goldie Brar in the month of March.”
About a few days ago, Salman addressed the concerns of his fans and well-wishers on the popular chat show Aap Ki Adalat. He said, “Security is better than insecurity. Yes, security is there. Now, it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat that's why there is security."
Salman was recently seen in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which performed averagely at the box office. He will next be seen in Tiger 3 opposite actress Katrina Kaif.
In November last year, Khan got provided with Y-category security by the Mumbai police as the actor was perceived to be under threat from (gangster) Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang. Salman and his father, veteran actor Salim Khan received a death threat just days after the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala last year.
