Salman Khan has spoken about friendship during his podcast with nephew Arhaan Khan. While trying to explain to Arhaan the importance of friendship, the actor spilled some details of his life that became lessons when it came to making and keeping friends in his life. Salman has also mastered the art of letting go and explains the importance of it. Here's everything he said...
Although he teaches Arhaan to never demean the other person by saying they betrayed you, Salman indirectly said the words. Keeping respect for the other person no matter what, the actor shared that it is your own self to blame for trusting people to the extent that they are allowed to affect you in that sense. He explains that while there are people who would take advantage, others would trust you blindly and never take advantage, and the latter is the kind of crowd to stick around with. "And with some people, you realise after about 20 years that they were fooling you this whole time," he shared. "There should be no needs, wants, demands and selfishness about friendships," the actor asserts while talking about the art of letting people go. He recalls having friends who he doesn't talk to or meet often, but they connect on the same page no matter when they meet.

Salman also recalled having a particular friend who lent him a big loan (at the time) of Rs. 15,000. He met the friend on the sets of Maine Pyar Kiya and while shooting for Sanam Bewafa, the actor was in need of money. The friend in question did not hesitate before lending him the amount and the two have been friends since.
In the same podcast, Salman also discussed his time in prison and how that was drastically different from who he is as a person. It was thanks to prison time that the actor got to catch up on his sleep. In real life, Salman has family, friends and work commitments which he must attend to. Owing to that, he gets two hours of sleep at max, and has been okay with it for a long time now, he shares.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. The movie releases in theatres on March 28.
