Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 finally overthrows Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to become most popular film on OTT

Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, has really been in the news ever since it came out on Amazon Prime Video. The Maneesh Sharma directorial has finally overthrown Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan as the most popular film on OTT. Ormax Media has unveiled the list of top theatrical releases on OTT for the week of January 5-11 and Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail also made it to top three.

Jawan down at third spot

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, directed by Atlee, is down to the third spot. The film was the most loved theatrical release for months at an end and finally, it is at the bottom of the list.

Tiger 3 most loved

Tiger 3 has been in news again since it released on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, a Reddit user compared it to Hrithik Roshan’s War. Many have come out in his support and said that they also liked Tiger 3 and couldn’t imagine why the film tanked at the Box Office. Some did bash the movie and Salman’s performance in the same though. Nonetheless, the movie is the most viewed this week.

12th Fail still at the second spot

Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail was all over the internet since its release. It was owing to a moment of redemption. The movie beautifully portrays the lowest of lows and highest of highs. The love angle in the film is also equally appreciated. Despite the film being all over the internet, the Vidhu Vinod Chopra produced movie did not work as expected at the Box Office and is still to get to the top spot on OTT.
