Fans are in for solid action sequences in the upcoming action thriller, Sikandar. Starring Salman Khan in dual roles, the film will hit theaters on March 30. Ahead of it, Nadiadwala Grandson shared a video on their YouTube channel where Salman was joined by Aamir Khan, AR Murugadoss, and none other than Salim Khan. Aamir was the host, and while chatting, the actor asked Murugadoss who came up with the title of Sikandar.
AR Murugadoss on Sikandar title
During the interaction, Aamir Khan said that the title of Sikandar is great and asked AR Murugadoss who came up with the title. The director said, "Producer Sajid (Nadiadwala) Sir came up with the title."
Aamir also asked the director who is the real Sikandar in real life between him and Salman. Murugadoss smiled and said Salman is in the film, so he is the Sikandar. To which, Aamir quirkily answers, "I am joking, of course he is Sikandar." However, Salman said, "In real life, Aamir is the real-life Sikandar."
About Sikandar
Salman Khan's most-awaited film, Sikandar, will hit theaters on March 30, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. The 3-minute-and-39-second trailer of Sikandar introduces Salman Khan as Sikandar, and it starts with Salman's picture on a 'Wanted' board. We get to know that he is called 'Rajkot ka Raja,' 'Raja Sahab,' 'Sanjay Sahab,' and 'Sikandar Sahab.' The superstar is playing dual roles as Sanjay Rajkot and Sikandar, so expect a captivating action sequence in the film.
The story revolves around a fearless man who fights against a corrupt system, fighting for justice and the rights of the underprivileged. From the trailer, it looks like the film is packed with powerful dialogues, high-voltage action sequences, and emotional depth, and fans are expecting it to be a blockbuster.
Sikandar runtime
As per the censor certificate, Sikandar's runtime is 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds and the film has given a UA 13+ rating. The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The background music is done by Santhosh Narayanan. The choreographers are Farah Khan, Ahmed Khan, Dinesh Master, and Brinda.
Apart from Salman, the cast also features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna.
