The world woke up to a devastating news. Veteran actor Satish Kaushik died after a cardiac arrest while he was visiting a friend in Gurugram. The actor’s last rites took place and many Bollywood celebs paid their tribute to the legend.

Other celebrities who were spotted at the actor-director’s last rites were Rohit Dhawan, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Arya Babbar, Raza Murad, Vikrant Massey and Anupam Kher. Anupam was one of the first celebrities to let everyone know about his friend Satish’s demise. He had shared a very special tweet for his friend that broke everyone’s heart.

Celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Kangana Ranaut and Manoj Bajpayee were among the ones to express their condolences to Satish ji’s family as soon as they heard about his demise.

Satish Kaushik celebrated Holi with many Bollywood celebrities. He was visiting a friend in Gurugram. The actor suffered a cardiac arrest in a car and was hospitalized at Fortis hospital in Gurgaon.

Apart from being an actor and director, Satish Kaushik was also a producer and screenwriter. His most memorable role as an actor remains the iconic character Calendar in Anil Kapoor’s Mr India. He is also remembered as Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana. The actor also helped Salman reach new heights with his directorial film, Tere Naam.

Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife and daughter.
