We know that Raveena Tandon's powerful drama Patna Shuklla is coming to Disney+ Hotstar. The streaming service will release the film's trailer today, teasing Raveena's character Tanvi's struggles in a deceptive society. Ahead of the trailer’s release, Raveena's good friend, superstar Salman Khan, has also shown his support for the film, adding to the anticipation for its release.

Taking to microblogging site X today, Salman Khan wrote a poetic message to Raveena Tandon. It read, “Kabhi Linking road, kabhi Cadell road Kabhi Peddar road, Kabhi Arthur road Dhundha tumhein har jageh, Raveena Up to something new humein bataye bina? (Sometimes Linking Road, sometimes Cadell Road Sometimes Peddar Road, sometimes Arthur Road I searched for you everywhere, Raveena Up to something new without telling us?)”

Netizens wondered for a brief time whether Salman and Ranveena were collaborating on a project. Minutes later, Raveena responded on X and said, “Na Turner road, na Carter road Milungi ab seedhe in Patna. Ban gayi hoon Tanvi Shuklla. Mera swagat zaroor karna! (Neither Turner road, nor Carter road Now I'll meet you straight in Patna. I have become Tanvi Shuklla. Be sure to welcome me!)”

Lakhs of social media users have liked the conversation between the two stars.

Salman and Raveena have worked together in numerous films in the past including Deewana Mastana (1997) and Andaz Apna Apna (1994) to name a few.

What is Patna Shuklla about?

In a teaser video, Raveena Tandon plays a lawyer challenging societal norms and gender inequality.

Raveena Tandon, in the title role, narrates her story in a poetic style. Her empowering introduction begins with, "I am the light in the darkness of this world. I am Patna." The teaser highlights the obstacles Tanvi faces in gaining respect within her family and the courtroom. It emphasizes the patriarchal society where women's professional capabilities are often disregarded because of their gender.

More details of the project will be revealed today. The project is also expected to star Anushka Kaushik, Manav Vij, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles.
