With each passing hour, a new update about Salman Khan's Mumbai residence firing row emerges, leaving us even more shocked than the last. This morning, we learned the details of the incident and how the attackers carried out the attack at the Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. The Mumbai police have been alert and active on the case since yesterday and have made many breakthroughs. However, the most recent update is even more shocking. According to the latest information, one of the two attackers who opened fire is actually a wanted gangster from Haryana.
One Shooter, a Wanted Gangster?
According to India Today, the gangster's name is Vishal Rahul, who works as a shooter for gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He arrived outside Galaxy apartments at 4:55 am yesterday via Bandra’s Bandstand and fired 5-6 rounds of bullets at Khan’s residence. While one bullet hit the wall, the others were fired into the air. Police found five bullet shells and one live round in total.
Who Is Vishal Rahul?
Vishal Rahul, involved in the firing outside Salman Khan's home, studied till the 10th standard and is implicated in multiple murders and robberies in Haryana. Currently, he has over five criminal cases filed against him in Delhi and Haryana. Recently, he was involved in the killing of a Rohtak-based bookie for Lawrence Bishnoi. He was captured on CCTV shooting the bookie, and the bookie's mother was also shot in the incident. Vishal was also involved in a murder at a roadside restaurant in Rohtak on February 29 this year.
A Special Cell team from the Delhi police went to search for Vishal Rahul at his residence on Monday, and both the Special Cell and Crime Branch have begun their investigation. Further details are awaited.
Anmol Bishnoi Took Responsibility
Yesterday evening, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, claimed responsibility for the attack against Salman Khan. In a social media post, he wrote, “Salman Khan, do not take us lightly. This firing incident was just a trailer so that you understand our strength. This is the first and last warning. After this, the firing will happen at your home,” the post read.
Anmol further wrote, “You consider Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel as divine. We, however, have two pet dogs named after these two persons. I am not in the habit of speaking much. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. (Lawrence Bishnoi group) Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara, Kala Jatheri.”
