Salman Khan has revealed that Palak Tiwari initially refused to do Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The actress plays one of the pivotal roles in the film. She plays a part of the family, which includes ‘Bhaijaan’ Salman and ‘Bhagya’ Pooja Hegde.

Palak had worked with Salman on Antim before acting in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The actress was an assistant director on the film.

Salman recalled the same at the recently held trailer launch of the film. He remembered, “She then worked on Antim with us. She learned everything behind the scenes. She was the assistant director on the film.”

Palak was offered Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after Antim. The actress was not sure if she wants to take up the project. She did not say yes instantly. Salman also revealed the same at the event. He said, “From there, she came into this one (KBKJ). She was reluctant to do it previously but then, she got it.”

Palak was embarrassed as Salman recalled how she was reluctant to sign Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She almost did not want that to come out and said ‘no’ and looked in the other direction.

Apart from Palak, Salman and Pooja, the film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Bhagyashree, Sooraj Pancholi, Karan Kapoor, Aasif Sheikh, Abdu Rozik, Amrita Puri, Rohini Hattangadi, Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz in pivotal roles. The movie marks Shehnaaz’s debut and is Palak’s second Bollywood film after Rosie. The movie starred Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan in the lead role.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will release in theatres on Eid. It is one of Salman’s most awaited films since the movie releases in theatres alone on Eid after four years.
