Patience has been tested by millions of fans since it has been speculated that Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, Salman Khan's Tiger, and Hrithik Roshan's Kabir (from War) will appear together on screen as a part of the YRF universe. While the industry speculates that Hrithik will appear in either Pathan or Tiger 3, according to Pinkvilla, a source has all the pertinent information.

A source told the entertainment portal that all those who know what's in the script for Pathan and Tiger 3 know that Kabir was never planned to meet Pathan or the third instalment in the Tiger franchise in either of these films. Producer Aditya Chopra is developing his spy franchise deliberately, and the only time Salman, Hrithik, and Shah Rukh will meet as Tiger, Pathan, and Kabir will be after War 2. The source revealed that it had been the plan from the beginning.

Aditya's spy world appears to be immensely fascinating, with screen box office superstars Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone starring alongside Salman and SRK, respectively. According to the source, the production company will provide spectators with a once-in-a-lifetime experience when three of India's top superstars come together. An interesting fact is that War 2 is already in the works, following Pathan and Tiger 3 in the Spy Universe.

In the meantime, Pathan and Tiger 3 are nearing completion. Sidharth Anand and Maneesh Sharma are the directors of both flicks. The banner is expected to announce a release date soon.

With Pathan, Shah Rukh will be seen on the big screen after almost four years. The film also marks his return to the YRF banner after six years. The superstar's last outing with the leading production banner was Fan, released in 2016.

Meanwhile, the third instalment of Tiger is likely to hit theaters in December 2022.
