Despite all the superstardom and fan following, actor Salman Khan is someone who is always grounded and never lets his stardom come in his way when interacting with his fans. One of the big reasons for this is the upbringing of his parents, Salma Khan and Salim Khan. Salim Khan, who is the name behind the scripts of many yesteryear blockbuster films, celebrates his birthday today.

On the happy occasion of his father's birthday, Salman took to social media and shared a heartwarming photograph of him with his father. Both father and son are dressed in casual attire as they pose for the camera. Salim Khan is dressed in a blue denim shirt, while Salman wore a grey T-shirt and denim pants. Both are seated on a chair at what is presumed to be their home in Bandra, Mumbai.

Within minutes of Salman posting the photograph, the comments section was filled with wishes and compliments. Those who wished Salim Khan included ace cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who wrote, “Happy Birthday” (with a heart and folded hands emojis), filmmaker Rajiv Rai, who wrote, “Happy Birthday …Good Health…Long Life!”. There was also actor Nawab Shah, who posted his wishes for the ‘birthday boy’. While Bobby Deol took to social media’s comments section and dropped multiple red hearts, Ronit Roy wrote, “Happy Birthday Sir”.

As for Salman Khan, he is presently enjoying the success of his latest film, ‘Tiger 3’, which stars Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. Besides them, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi in an all-important role. The film has been going great guns at the box office, both in India and abroad. The latest update on the film is that it has made Rs 250 crore in India.
