There’s no promise Bollywood superstar Salman Khan wouldn’t keep. And definitely not the one made to his long-time bodyguard, Shera.
The actor, who had promised to launch his most-trusted and loyal bodyguard of decades that he would launch his son Tiger in Bollywood, is ready with the script for the debutant’s first film and is now in the lookout for a female lead, according to a report by E Times.
Salman Khan has also been monitoring the growth of the young actor and his overall transformation for the big screen. It has also been reported by Pinkvilla that Salman Khan has approached actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik to direct Tiger’s debut film.
Additionally, Salman Khan has reached out to several actresses to be cast opposite Tiger and while no actress has been confirmed to romance him yet, the film is slated to go on floors in January of 2023.
Back in 2019, speaking about Shera’s son Tiger’s big break in Bollywood, Salman Khan had said at the time that he was being groomed and that he would personally pick the right script for Tiger.
"Shera’s son Tiger is being groomed right now and he’s already being considered by so many producers and directors. Shera feels I will be the best judge of a script for his son, so I am now sifting through scripts. I am yet to find something worthy,” Salman Khan said in 2019, according to E Times.
Interestingly, Tiger has worked as an assistant director on Salman Khan’s 2016 sports drama, Sultan.
