Salman Khan to Mumtaz: You are absolutely the best

Recently, veteran actressMumtaz appeared on a Spotify podcast, in which she danced to the hit yesteryears song “Aajkal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche”. The song is picturised on her and the late actor Shammi Kapoor, and Mumtaz recreated the magic of the song with the host of the show, impressing viewers.

One such viewer was actor Salman Khan, who was in awe of the dancing skills of the yesteryear actor.  He shared a clip of the dance on Instagram, along with the caption, “It’s so amazing to see u dance mumtaz aunty. Love it , u r absolutely the best ….” As Salman shared the video, his praise was echoed by his fans, who flooded the comment section with their amazement regarding the dancing skills of the 75-year-old star. Comments ranged from heart emojis to “Wow’s” and “Amazings”, to phrases like “Old is Gold.” One comment read, “Big legends.”

Mumtaz was the toast of the film industry in the 1960s and 1970s. She starred in films such as Aadmi Aur Insaan (1969), Sachaa Jhutha (1970), Khilona (1970), Tere Mere Sapne (1971), Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), Apna Desh (1972), Loafer (1973), Jheel Ke Us Paar (1973), Chor Machaye Shor (1974), Aap Ki Kasam (1974), Roti (1974), Prem Kahani (1975) and Nagin (1976).

Salman Khan, meanwhile, will next be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3. The actor is also busy as the host of the current season of the reality TV show, Bigg Boss 16.
